Do you have old medications that you need to dispose of?  If so, do your part to keep our communities safe and clean by participating in a Manitowoc County Drug Disposal Program.  Participants may bring unwanted drugs and medications to these programs free of charge.

"Flushing unwanted medications down the toilet, or in the trash, has added to the problem of medications in our water supplies." - Northeast Recycling Council, Inc.

"Unused medications are being used inappropriately, stolen, or ending up on the street." - Metro Drug Task Force Commander

You can also bring in your mercury thermometers and exchange them for a digital one.  Limit of one per household while supplies last! 

Guidelines
Needles and sharps will not be accepted
Please keep items in their original containers
Please do not mix medications in the same container
You may block out personal information on the drug container but please keep the drug name visible
Businesses may participate but must preregister by calling 920-683-4333
