Presentations - Recycling Center staff are available for presenting information about recycling in our community.  Common topics include recyclable materials, home composting, MRF tours and curbside recycling.  Talk with one of our staff to tailor a presentation to meet your specific needs.  Please give advance notice and allow a minimum of 2 weeks scheduling time for presentations. 

MRF Tours - The Recycling Center is a Material Recovery Facility (MRF) that accepts, separates, and ships recyclables from Manitowoc County along with a variety of other related services.  Tours are available and can be scheduled by contacting one of our staff.  Please call ahead to learn details and allow 2 weeks scheduling time.

Compost Site Tours - The Recycling Center operates two compost sites in Manitowoc County.  Informational tours are available if you wish to learn more about what happens in our municipal compost site.  Tours are only available at the Basswood Compost Site and are dependant on the weather. Please call ahead to learn details and allow 2 weeks scheduling time.

Composting Class - Schedule a workshop to learn more about different composting methods including backyard composting, vermicomposting (worms), and grasscycling. Please call ahead to learn details and allow 2 weeks scheduling time.
